Important Shipping Information

Because many of the animals are so big shipping calculation is not always correct when computed on our site. The reason is simple. We calculate shipping cost using ACTUAL weight. That works for Ground. However, Express shipments, including International, are calculated by using DIMENSIONAL weight. We can only calculate Express shipping cost off line and will email you a Sales Receipt with the CORRECT cost of shipping.

When counting days for delivery do NOT include the shipping date. You will be surprised at all your options.

Orders will ship from either the East or West Coast within 2 business days.

FEDEX Ground Home Delivery

Delivers Tuesday- Saturday from 9 AM to 8 PM. No extra charge for Saturday delivery. Excludes Holidays. No Monday delivery.

Home Ground - CERTAIN DAY

If you want a package to be delivered on a specific day, cost is $3 extra. YOU choose the day. Just give the package enough time to get to you. Request CERTAIN DAY in the Special Instruction box as you check out. Tell us which day Tues-Sat. We will charge you the $3 extra.

Home Ground - EVENING

If you want delivery between 5 and 8 PM, on your scheduled delivery date, request EVENING in the Special Instructions box as you check out. Cost is $7 more.

Home Ground - APPOINTMENT

If you want delivery within a one hour time frame, this is also possible. Cost is

$15 per shipment + $3.25 per package. FedEx calls and sets up exact delivery time with you.

FEDEX Ground

Delivers to COMMERCIAL addresses Monday through Friday by end of the business day.

FEDEX 1st Overnight - earliest

Delivers between 8-10 AM next business day M-F. Time of delivery dependent on your zip code and business hours. No Saturday delivery. Not available in Hawaii or Alaska. Available for both home and commercial addresses.

FEDEX Priority Overnight - by 10:30 AM

Delivers by 10:30 AM next business day M-F to most U.S. addresses; before 5 PM in remote areas. You can request Saturday delivery and pay an additional fee of $12.50 per PACKAGE. Saturday delivery will arrive by 1:30 PM. Delivery to Alaska or Hawaii may take 2 business days. Available for both home and commercial addresses.

FEDEX Standard Overnight - slowest overnight

Delivers by 3 PM next business day M-F to most U.S. addresses; by 4:30 PM to rural areas. No Saturday delivery. Hawaii and Alaska may take 2 business days. Available for both home and commercial addresses.

FEDEX 2nd Day

Delivers by 4:30 PM in 2 business days to businesses, by 7 PM to residential. M-F. You can request Saturday delivery and pay an additional fee of $12.50 per PACKAGE. Available for both home or commercial addresses.

FEDEX Express Saver - 3 days

Delivers to businesses by 4:30 PM and residences by 7 PM, in 3 business days M-F. Saturday delivery possible if requested and pay an additional fee of $12.50 per PACKAGE. Available for both home or commercial addresses

If you call FEDEX and change the delivery address or ask us to change the delivery address, FEDEX charges $5 per package for Ground shipments and $10 for Express shipments. We, in turn, will charge you this amount.

If you provide us with an incorrect address, FEDEX will charge us $5 for Ground shipments and $10 for Express shipments, We, in turn, will charge you this amount.

FEDEX does NOT ship to P.O. boxes.

We will ship using your FEDEX account if you wish. For international shipment this can be helpful although our discount may be bigger.

TRIVIA

FEDEX GROUND and FEDEX EXPRESS are essentially two companies. They have different trucks, different drivers and different terminals. Once a package has been shipped it can not be switched from Ground to Express.

MINIMUM SHIPPING cost is $8 per shipment.
